Design Materials is a comprehensive offline reference guide trusted by hundreds of engineers, architects, and designers worldwide. Originally conceived as a personal tool to assist with design decisions during the concept development phase of industrial products—particularly those involving 3D resins—it was later made publicly available to share its wealth of information and analytical power. The guide offers fundamental data on a wide range of materials commonly used in design and engineering, sourcing information from reputable and curated academic references. Users can also create and manage custom data entries for materials, resins, or filaments.

The guide categorizes materials into sections such as polymers, metals, naturals, and others, covering subcategories including synthetic, organic, biodegradable, plastics, among others. Each material entry provides detailed information including: overview, properties, tags, applications, types, and visual references through photographs.

The Pro version offers auto-renewing subscriptions with options including a one-year (Gold), three-month (Silver), and one-month (Bronze) plan. These subscriptions provide access to the entire material database.

Subscription details:

<li>Payment will be processed through the iTunes Account at the time of purchase.</li>
<li>Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is deactivated at least 24 hours before the current period ends.</li>
<li>Accounts are billed within 24 hours prior to renewal and provided with renewal details.</li>
<li>Users can manage subscriptions and deactivate auto-renewal via their Account Settings post-purchase.</li>
<li>If a free trial is offered, any unused portion will be forfeited upon subscribing.</li>
</ul>
